Description: LIVING ESTATE SALE (Details at the end of description) MM/AI For your consideration is a Wilesco D16 made in Germany in the late 1950s/early 1960s.I have inserted a very difficult to read photo that displays a "Made in Western Germany" stamping. This stamping was not used any longer shortly after mid 1950s. The vintage engine (around 60 years old) is in very good condition for its age.It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam.You will need some solid fuel pellets (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is highly recommended.It has been fired but not abused.It is complete except for the original box that is missing.It is also 100% original. The engine is mechanically very strong.The cosmetic look can be improved : - There is some paint fading, especially on the base of the engine section (photos). - The (decorative) yellow line has deteriorated which might bother a perfectionist. - There are some rare and trivial spots of corrosion here and there ; nothing serious (photos). But this is a great vintage engine... This model is still in production, with some modifications.
