Description: A Tabriz Round rug made in 1965, the pre-revolution era in Iran which indicates highest traditional techniques and staining used with customary vegetable dyes used traditionally. The quality is not the same in their rugs in more recent past. The rug is Very Fine with more than 350 knots per square inch (illustrated with a photo with a ruler in the listing). It is only 0.39 inches thick which is customary on such quality rugs. I have included my original purchase information. Very tight pile. Lovely piece which I have used under a round table. Has been lovingly cared for.
