Sign Up Vanquish Vrd Builders Kit - Straight Axle VPS09016 Click Thumbnails to Enlarge Product Description VRD BUILDERS KIT - STRAIGHT AXLE The Vanquish Products VRD Builders Kit is our entry level competition platform brought to life by some of the industry's most experienced designers in the RC rock crawling segment. Utilizing the VFD Transmission and F10 straight axles the VRD Builders Kit is a highly competitive, predictable and versatile platform. The heart of the VRD Builders Kit is a 3mm thick pair of aluminum frame rails mated to the 6 degree flat bottom skid plate. The molded chassis components and skid plate place the VFD transmission as low as possible into the VRD chassis. The front F10 straight axle is equipped with a servo on axle and 4-link suspension. VFD Transmission 3mm Aluminum Frame Rails - 6 degree flat skid plate 6.5% Overdrive F10 Straight axles Metal VFD Transmission Gears Sintered Metal 30T Ring Gear, Machined 8T Pinion gear in axles Chromoly Universal axle shafts Aluminum Shock Bodies Stainless Steel Links with HD Bent rear links Incision M4 Rod Ends Stamped Aluminum Rock Sliders Adjustable multi point body mounting system Chassis The Vanquish Products VRD chassis is equipped with molded chassis components that provide a tunable platform to adapt to the most demanding terrain. Multiple shock and body mounting positions combined with minimalistic front/rear interchangeable bumpers make body mounting and fitment straight forward. Stamped aluminum rock sliders provide a flat location for electronics and/or battery mounting and are able to support and protect your body. Drivetrain The center of the VRD Builders Kit is the VFD transmission that omits the cosmetic VFD tunnel for a high performance appearance and weight reduction. Internally the VFD is equipped with full ball bearings and metal gears, the transfer case offers 6.5% overdrive. The F10 Straight axles are proven and equipped with full ball bearings and universal axle shafts. Front axle has a servo on axle mount with 4 link suspension. Suspension The VRD Builders Kit includes the Incision 90mm S8E shocks with aluminum shock bodies. Heavy duty stainless steel lower suspension links and lightweight upper links connect the chassis to the axles with the Incision M4 rod ends. The rear lower links are bent for maximum breakover clearance. Multiple shock mounting locations and tunable shock length allow for a high range of ride height and breakover adjustments.
