Description: United States WW2 M1 Combat Helmet with Korea era USMC Cover. Fixed bale helmet (1941-43) with front seam. Has both the outer shell and inner liner that are both WW2 era. Helmet still retains a nice portion of the standard cork textured OD green exterior paint, however, does has a crack that you will see often in these early fixed bale helmets. Helmet also had heat stamp on interior, however, hard to clearly make out, I did take pictures to show the best I can of the heat stamp. Helmet khaki chinstraps with brass j-hooks (1941-43). Stitched helmet straps in worn condition. Korea era reversible cover in very heavily worn condition. Contract marked and dated 1953 on cover. Also, has other large number on side as well. Several rip, snags, tears, and some blue paint splatters. Very heavily worn condition USMC cover. Liner with decent condition webbing and neck strap, no leather adjustment band. Liner marker marked in inner upper dome area with the Westinghouse Electric Company logo. The liner also has soldiers name and I believe service number on interior, however, very faded. Overall, very heavily worn condition WW2 helmet with Korea era USMC cover with a nice been there look.
