Description: 2 Vintage Souvenir Stamp Sets in original sealed packages 'History of France' See photos for details and condition. Used French postal stamped, canceled. Purchased by my parents 50+ years ago while visiting Europe. The two sets were sold as a local souvenir set containing used stamps carefully laid out on a piece of paper, then seal wrapped in a clear plastic wrap. The larger package had the side edge of the wrapping and cardboard chewed by my pet Gerbil sometime in the 1970's. (See close up photos) The damage is to the package only. The stamps were not harmed. The stamps appear to be mostly used from 1940's to late 1960's era, but I am not an expert and only providing general background. They will be packed and shipped inside a cardboard box to protect them. We are down-sizing and must part with many of our old sentimental treasures.
