Typical bolt-on neck designs simply use wood screws - many times tapped into the wrong hole sizes. To solve this problem, we are happy to offer the Guitar Neck Threaded Insert Kit with BLACK SCREWS. Here's why our Kit is superior: 1) Many, many luthiers/guitarists have already bought! 2) We include Full Instructions - others do not. 3) We include an allen wrench and cap screw to make the screw-in of the inserts a "piece of cake" - other's do not and you end up with stripped insert heads. 4) We use only high quality polished brass inserts - ultra strong and will last forever. Stay away from STEEL inserts as they tend to split the wood when you install. 5) Need we say more?? 6) All you need is a 3/16" drill bit. Included in the Kit are: · 4 self - tapping BRASS inserts, internally threaded to accept the neck screws · 4 Phillips pan head 18 -8 stainless BLACK anodized steel machine screws, #8 -32 thread, 1 1/2" long · 1 allen wrench and 1 small socket head screw (for install only) Installation is quick and easy.
