Description: This was a meeting in Hartford, Connecticut between United Technologies Pratt and Whitney and High Level Soviet delegation for Tupolev including the son of Tupolev at Rentscler Airfield for demonstrations and meetings. This was one of the first meetings during the Gorbachev era to open the USSR to aerospace business. The Friendship medal pin was handed out to the delegates in the early 1980's.
