Description: For sale here is a very nice variant closely matched pair of US WW1 Captain Rank Bar Insignia. These are shirt or cap size rank bars that measure approximately 11/16" tall. These are pin back with functional pins and C catches. These bars are a hollow scooped back. There are no maker marks or hallmarks. These do show some age and patina with a bit of goldish toning, but retain a good amount of their frosting. These did not test for Sterling or Silver content.
