Description: The "inverted Jenny" - a 24-cent airmail stamp, issued by the Post Office in May of 1918, with its biplane design somehow printed upside down - is the hobby's Holy Grail. Only one sheet of 100 error stamps has ever been known to exist, and those stamps - some individual, some in blocks - that enter the market fetch incredible prices. In November of 2007, one of the 100 stamps from that sheet was sold at auction for $977,500! This is an FDC of the Inverted Jenny $2 stamp sheet, with 6 stamps on it, issued on September 22, 2013 to commemorate the original error stamp. This sheet is cancelled with the First Day of Issue cancel on September 22, 2013 and is mounted on a 6 inch by 9.5 inch envelope. See the scans for details.
