Description: I’m not a professional grader, but these two raw UNCANNY X-MEN #229 (1988) are high grade copies. First appearance of Tyger Tiger. In December 2022 it was speculated that Sandrine Holt was cast as Tyger Tiger in the future Disney+ Daredevil show. Also, first appearance of The Reavers. The spine for the newsstand has some minor spine stress. Corners on the front and back are good. There is some fading of color at the top, but I’m not sure it’s production or normal wear. A press would bring out the best in the issue. There several spine ticks on the direct edition. Corners are good, but there is a light color breaking crease on two of the back cover corners.
