Description: After a wonderful 3 years, my hamster unfortunately passed away in her old age. During her life, I did my best to make her as comfortable as possible, and buy her the best things I could. Now, I'd like to have the supplies to someone who can provide another hamster a loving home. I know how expensive many of the homes, hideouts, and toys can be, so I have included everything I can for an extremely low price. Here is a more detailed list of what's included below, as well as some general advice/recommendations on their use when necessary: 1. Quiet Hamster Wheel (if your hamster is prone to eating in it's wheel and thus the food scraps rattling around are too loud, removing the front panel works wonderfully) 2. Collapsible Play Pen (hamsters are craftier than you think, please watch them when in the pen as they will always find some way to climb and escape) 3. Two-story Wooden Ramp (smaller hamsters may have difficulty climbing up the ramp, adding substrate on top of it makes it far easier for them) 4. Two-story Wooden Hideout (though wood, this can be easily cleaned with hot water and dries fairly quickly) 5. Hamster Ball (I use this for transporting the hamster from their enclosure to their pen or other locations only. It is strongly recommended that hamsters not be left to run in balls, it is often harmful for them and an unfortunately perpetuated fad) 6. Sand Bath/Sand/Glass Bowl (only really necessary to spot clean sand. I recommend getting a very fine mesh sieve, which I was able to readily find at my local dollar store. The bowl is the perfect size to hold the sand when cleaning) 7. Food Bowl/Measuring Cups/Water Igloo (please clean these things, replacing the uneaten food and undrunk water every single day. If your hamster is not eating the entirety of the serving you feed them, it is almost guaranteed that just means the serving is too much) 8. Tube/Wooden/Ceramic Hideouts (if the room they are in is hot, say in the summer months, putting the ceramic hideout in the freezer for a little is a great way to give them a cool resting place) 9. Treats (please give in moderation, if given the chance hamsters will stop eating their healthy food in the expectation of consistent treats) 10. Toys (move around regularly to keep things interesting 11. Stocking (a cute little carrier to put presents for them in ) The only things necessary that are not included here are substrate and food, as they aren't very expensive to buy but very expensive to ship given their bulk. For substrate, please do not get anything with added colors or scents, nor anything you think would produce a dust. Basic Kaytee paper based bedding more than suffices. For food, pellets are necessary for health but boring, so be sure to enrich their diet with treats, fruits, veggies, seeds, etc. after doing a lot of research and testing myself, I recommend Higgins Sunburst Gourmet Blend for the food. It strikes a great balance of variety, health, and price. If you have any questions about something here or hamster care in general, please feel free to reach out :) **Will ship in two smaller boxes as I calculated it to be the cheapest for the buyer. Posted shipping cost cheaper than it will actually cost me but I'm happy to take the small hit**
