Description: This is a pre-wired rod piezo harness for guitar that includes a volume pot and Neutrik long-shaft mono output jack. Installation of this harness requires NO SOLDERING - all you have to do is drill some holes, connect the plugs and you're good to go! The rod piezo is intended for a standard 4-string acoustic ukulele, and has four "piezo pads" on it. We also carry a similar harness that includes a standard acoustic guitar rod piezo intended for 6-string instruments (product number 50-043-01). This harness includes 12" leads between the components so that you have plenty of slack to install them how you want in your box. The volume control is a 500KOhm audio-taper potentiometer. Please note that rod piezos are designed to be placed underneath the bone/plastic saddle on a standard acoustic ukulele, where they are exposed to the downward pressure created by the strings.
