Description: Uhl Pottery Brown Stoneware Pitcher Grape Clusters & Rickrack Lattice Star Mark. This lovely brown pitcher holds 2 quarts of liquid and would have been sold in the Uhl catalogue as the "2 qt. tall grape pitcher." Pitcher measures 8" tall, approximately 7" from handle to spout, and 4.25" wide at the base. The piece does not have the Uhl mark or name on the bottom, but does have the star mark that the company was known to use. In excellent condition with no major flaws or cracks. Pitcher does have a few small flaws that appear like chips, but may be a manufacturer defect with the glaze. These are all at the bottom of the pitcher, where the piece transitions from glazed/unglazed, and the small "chips" are likely a manufacturer defect from where the glaze dripped onto another surface, dried, and caused a tiny spot to pull away once removed.
