Description: Offered for your consideration are two clear glass tumblers with gold trim made by the United States Glass Company (1891-1962) in their pattern number 896 1/2. Also known as "Scalloped Daisy and Fan", this pattern was introduced circa 1900. The tumblers are slightly less than 4 inches (10.2 cm) tall and are just over 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter. These two tumblers are in very good used condition with no cracks, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. There are chips on rim of one tumbler and the gold trim shows noticeable wear and is weak or missing in places. Tumblers are used so there may be additional indications of use. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no noticeable cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. Bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections may be present due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
