Description: Description: Two (2) "Tipped" American Coin Silver teaspoons marked “A.C. BENEDICT 28 BOWERY"Books show that “A.C. BENEDICT” was Andrew Comstock Benedict (1802-1888). Online information shows that he worked as a silversmith, jeweler, and watchmaker at 28 Bowery in New York City from about 1836-1846. Condition is fair. The maker name shows wear. One bowl is rippled, dimpled and bent; the other has a small dent. The handles are in good condition. No splits or repairs. Refer to pictures.I cannot decipher the monogram.The two teaspoons are very light and small.
