Groove wear (a fuzzy sound) should not be noticeable. Any warping or an off centered hole should not affect playback. What is a Scuff Mark?: The mark does not break through the edges of the groove, thus no noise is produced when the stylus passes over the Mark. What does an Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine do?: The exploding micro bubbles get deep into the grooves of the record and take off the oils, smoke residue, and any stuck dirt. This reduces the background noise making listening even more enjoyable.
