Please read this listing completely before purchase Buy this if you have a 44mm centres tap with single plastic in tank filter and a spacer plate. Let us know if you have something different. This is a brand new fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF and RESERVE. Just plug your existing vacuum tube with a small screw close to the carburettor as it will not be required with our tap. Note that our tap has two fuel outlets as does the original and comes complete with a new tank seal. You will need to use shorter mounting bolts with our tap. The casting of our taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch. Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original fuel tap. The design is very poor with the spacer plate. They generally leak or get bunged up and stop flowing fuel leading to fuel starvation. The castings always seem to be rotten and the spacer plate means extra seals. New in tank filters are not available as well. It's really not worth wasting time even trying to fix them when you can buy something like this from us so cheaply! OK so this tap not original Triumph but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. The quality of these are as good or probably better than what we've seen of the the original ones! Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the best! We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap. To date, we have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer. Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps. Technical specifications: These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!... and binned them! This will be a direct fit on your bike. Connection to fuel line: 6mm internal diameter fuel pipe. NOTE that this is smaller than your OEM Tap so please plan to replace your fuel pipe or fit 8mm to 6mm fuel pipe reducers which we sell seperately. The two smaller pipe outlets flow adequate fuel. NOTE.... This will sit higher than the original tap and not sit centrally within the panel hole unless you reuse the spacer plate. If you decide to reuse the spacer with our tap you will obviously have less reserve range but more normal range. Do ensure that the bottom face of your spacer is clean and ideally fit a new top tank seal too. See our image of the tap fitted without the spacer plate to a Trophy 1200. See item number 325371501057 Our taps are supplied with a tank seal and have internal syphon pipes with filters as well as an inline mesh filter inside the bottom of the tap. There is also a drain screw and sealing washer on the front which can be used to regularly drain the tap and any dirt as part of your servicing and maintenance regime See our images.
