Description: TOOTS SHOR NYC HALL CERAMIC ASHTRAY CIRCA 1950. This world famous restaurant was located at 51 West 51st. Street, New York City. It was a major attraction for celebrities such as Jackie Gleason, and sports figures of the day. It was the favorite watering hole for the NY Yankees, among others. The restaurant closed on June 30, 1959. This ashtray is approximately 4-1/2” x 2-1/2”. It is a maroon glaze with gold lettering and trim. The bottom has the hallmark; HALL Made in USA 683. This ashtray is in very good condition, with no cracks, chips or crazing. ( See Pics).
