Tom Thumb 1964 25th Anniversary Cash Register 60 Years Old

Description: A cool toy register that has survived for 60 years now. I can’t find a comp to compare it too. I haven’t seen one in the mustard yellow color in my research. There is a stamp sticker on it stating: 25th Anniversary 1939-1964 . I’m not sure if it’s the original color, it appears to be , due to the rusting areas. I believe there was also a glass or plastic plate in front of the numbers at the top. I purchased many years back because I thought it was so cool and I just love things that are made with quality. The numbers all work when pressed down. The release button also opens the drawer. The drawer is sometimes hard to get it to stay shut again after opened. I have to push it in really hard to get it to stay but it will with a few tries. I think it’s a great decorative piece myself. Thank you for looking! Terry
