Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Pulp: Tip Top Weekly No 817, "Dick Merriwell In Panama; Or, Pitted Against The Unknown", December 9, 1911, Working on the Panama Canal Cover, approx. 11 1/8" X 8 1/8", Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In over-all good condition - has very minor chipping along the spine, front cover mostly detached, minor staining. VERY THIN paper. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally.
