Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Magazine: "Tip Top Weekly No 404, Frank Merriwell's On The Trail Or From Phoenix To Peaceful Pocket", January 9, 1904", approx. 10 7/8" X 8 3/8", Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In poor condition, covers and pages separated at the spine, edge chipping as seen, some relatively minor stains, internal oxidation and brittleness - VERY THIN paper, Back Cover is lost - else complete. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally. MANY of these early one have issues with the left side corners. I really believed they were clipped back in the day - maybe remainder stock?? Strange that the same exact corners on each one seem clipped.
