Description: This book contains a series of essays concerned with the parish Eucharist or parish community service. The book states that it’s not going to deal with how frequently communion should be celebrated in the parish or the best arrangement of a Sunday service, but rather a deepen understanding of the meaning of the sacrament and of the church. Book also includes four essays in the sphere of pastoral theology. Overall, the author wants us to see the service of Eucharist as a vision of offering, communion, and fellowship, something stays the very center of the life of the church. The book is hardcover, but with no dust jacket. There is some writing in the book In a few of the later chapters, because evidently the previous owner skip the first 200 pages or didn’t find anything interesting there. Please see pictures for examples of the condition of the book. The binding and pages are otherwise in good shape with no turned corners and no damage to the binding and cover except signs of aging. This is another of the vintage volumes. I am trying to find someone to adopt. I am a retired priest/professor and I am looking for a good home for the books that I have collected over the years.
