Description: This is an updated version published in 1976 of the original White House cookbook that was first published in 1887. There is a publishers preface to the new addition in the book for you to read. The book appears on used the pages are perfect with no staining discoloration or edge loss. The front hardbound Cover actually has some blackish discoloration on it. I don’t know what it is. The covering for the book does have a lot of edge, loss and tears. I’m going to include it anyway in the sale. The book has no odors. It is intact. See your pictures for full condition. All sales final. No returns. it is a large cookbook. The original authors were actually the White House stewards. Francis Grossman is the latest editor of this addition.
