Description: Greeting & Verse Card Duet We know you'll love these great “Keepsake Enclosed Cards” which are a combination of a Greeting Card and a Verse Card. The greeting cards are created right here in our southwestern workshop just as we have been doing since 1977. First, a pastel Rainbow is printed on greeting card stock and then precision die-cut with distinctive round corners to a finished size of 4" x 5". Then we attach one of our 2⅜" x 3½" Verse Cards which is inserted into 4 small slits hidden on the face of the Greeting Card. The recipient easily removes it by gently lifting... much like a photo would be taken out of an old-fashioned album. The “removed” Verse Card then becomes a “Lasting Keepsake”. Each Verse Card features the following text: "Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away to the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, That, we still are. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect.
