Description: Vintage Lafayettes are total sleepers. They gave the big guys a run for their money. They made some truly great sounding solid state units. And this is definitely one of those. Couldn't find the specs online but the LR-1500TA (it's big brother) was a whopping 70 watts per channel, so I'm guessing this one is probably 50 wpc. As most of you know, 50 wpc on these 70's solid state receivers is mighty. The only issue with this one is it has very weak FM. Not sure what the problem is but if you're handy with electronics it's probably an easy fix. And let's face it, most of us aren't buying these vintage stereos to listen to the radio! We buy them for the sound, and this one sounds great.
