Description: A very good 1918, First Edition, early printing, of an American classic, The Education of Henry Adams. Although published privately for a handful of readers in 1907, it was finally published for the public in September 1918, by Houghton Mifflin. This copy shows slight wear on edges, a little scuffing on the front and back, but is definitely a Very Good copy, with a strong binding, lots of color in the gilden lettering and top edge. The words "born 1838" are written in ink on the back board and underlining occurs on pages 301-2. All in all, a great copy of this classic. A great book at a great price. Will consider offers as well.
