If you are a collector, you know how hard this title is to find, especially in sealed condition. The history: The 3" CD format (CD3) was introduced with much fanfare to the world in 1987. By 1988, the major labels were issuing a variety of CD singles in this format. But for several reasons (cost, incompatibility of the CD3 with early CD players, resistance on the part of retailers who didn't have any convenient way to display them, etc.), the format was a resounding flop in the US. By mid 1989, the format was dead in US (though the CD3 format met some success in other countries). Retailers returned unsold stock to the labels, most of which was ground up. All CD3 titles have been out of print in this format since then. And to answer the obvious question: Retailers were supposed to return their CD3 stock for credit when the CD3 format was pulled. At least one retail chain, however, pulled their stock but then neglected to actually return at least part of it. A few years later, the now-unreturnable CD3s were discovered in a box in the warehouse. At that time, they were put out for sale.
