Description: This is "The Campaigns of Napoleon Buonaparte" by "An American", in a first edition (copyright 1834, published 1835) published by Cahrles Gaylord, Boston. This edition features a fold-out frontispiece of the conflagration at Moscow, and three other engravings. There is a complete account of this military career, from the siege of Toulon to his imprisonment on St. Helena, including an account of the French Revolution. Condition of this book, in the original publisher's cloth-covered boards, is Very Good Minus, showing wear to the corners and spine ends, with some loss of material at the spine ends. There is a previous owner's stamp on the RFEP and the first blank page, and some minor foxing. Please see my other history listings.
