Description: "The Bibliographical and Retrospective Miscellany" is a 160 page, 4.75"x7.5" hardcover written by Edward R. Poole and published in 1830 in London by John Wilson. It contains "notices of, and extracts from, rare, curious, and useful books, in all languages; original matter illustrative of the history and antiquities of Great Britain and Ireland; abstracts from valuable manuscripts; unpublished autograph letters of eminent characters; and notices of books sales." The book is in acceptable, reading-only condition, with no dust jacket (as issued). The spine covering is missing, and the original paper-covered boards have general wear, bumping along the edges, bumped and fraying corners. The hinges are starting. The ffep is missing the upper corner (see 2nd photo), there are several small marks on the inside covers, ffep and bfep. The interior pages are clean if a bit wrinkled from damp conditions - a few have bent corners. The binding is sound.
