The front cover contains paper "pop-ups" of Green Gables and Anne. This accounts for 5/8" of the total book depth. There are 4 total pop-ups in the book (8 pages only). All of the inner pop-ups are in good condition with one tear and very light wear. On the last page, Anne's puff sleeve dress has a small tear on the left sleeve (see last photo). Here is a brief description of each pop-up: 1. Matthew in his buggy picking up Anne at the train station. 2. Anne being disciplined by the teacher (his arm moves down as you open the page). 3. Anne serving Diana raspberry cordial (there is a pull down tab that moves Anne to set down her serving tray). 4. Matthew and Marilla give Anne her puff sleeve dress (Matthew pulls the dress up as the page opens). The book has scuffing all over. The plastic window on the front has started to yellow and has visible scuffing. The spine has some buckling, as well as some brown glue at both ends. There are white scuff marks on the front and back. The pages inside have wear on all edges and corners (especially the upper corner).
