I just tested this out and it plays, records and playback all work just fine. The size of the unit is 10.5" deep, 5.5" across and 2" tall with a weight of just under 3 pounds. This works on 4 C batteries (not included) or with the supplied power cord. There are no computer interface cables, box, manuals etc... included that originally came with this unit.
