Description: Vintage Mid-1960’s Teisco Del Rey EP-100T, Serial # 392892. Made by Teisco in Japan. Highly regarded by guitar collectors and gear enthusiasts, Teisco instruments frequently featured unique control layouts, consisting of switches and sliders more reminiscent of a studio environment than what you’d typically see on a guitar. This guitar has a series of faders that function as the volume and tone controls, as well as on-off switches for each pickup. The electronics all function as they should, and sound really good. Also a cool sound when strum the strings in between the bigsby & the bridge. All original. Strat like headstock with a Teisco badge. Beautiful walnut/mocha finish. Nice chunky neck profile on this model. They should put this neck profile/shape on the Epiphone Casinos. Pickups have square pole pieces, sliders for volume, tone and pickup selectors. Weighs 6 lbs. 10.6 oz. Comes with a case. Some nicks & scratches & some pitting on the chrome due to aging. String height is approx 6/64"/1/8" at 12th fret. The bridge adjustment screws are set at it's lowest setting. The neck has a shim as shown in the pics. Amazing shape for a time capsule guitar from the 60's. I have more pics.
