Description: Techniques by Higgins Ink Co. - 1948 5th Ed - NEAR MINT Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This book was found in a locked glass bookcase above in my father-in-law's yarn shop. This book is in NEAR MINT condition. The spine is unbroken. There is no dust jacket. Actual front and back covers have minimal damage. No marks or highlighting in text except for a price and in initials in pencil on the front inside page. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. Cover lies flat. Some color photographs. Illustrated, collectible, 5th edition. 4th print. This is a really cool book. So many examples of techniques that if I'd seen this in the dark ages I might have learned to draw. The book is NEAR MINT with small bends in th bottom front and back cover that pretty much don't show because the cover is a nice chocolate brown. Also, there are four dots on the first page 2 pages that appear to be something that was stuck on it (paint?) and feels scratch-off-able, but your mileage may vary. That is all we see wrong with this very cool book. Please see pictures. Also, please note. I take horrible pictures. So how come, this time, the cover is waaaay better than my picture and even redoing it, it cannot get it to show as nice as it is. A couple of nicks on the edges is all that is wrong. Seriously, this cover looks better in real life. Please NOTE: Old books are heavy books. Safe shipping moves them into the next postal category. Sorry! Please NOTE: We live in Michigan and it is winter. We have the Lake Effect almost every day – massive cloud cover. We are doing the best we can with interior lighting for the pictures. Also, please NOTE: Almost every book has a smudge somewhere. We mention it if we see it, but please assume we missed something. PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is not in the book. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number is non-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry! Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. We hope you have fun and stay with us. Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up. We refund your shipping charges! Please help us recycle these lovingly cared for curios in an environmentally friendly manner. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
