Description: This is a vintage sterling silver pillbox from Taxco, Mexico. It features a deep green stone inlay design around a center brass and copper profile bird head. The bird's eye is a silver triangle with a flush set black center. A hinged clasp secured the little gem. Measurements: approx 1-1/4" wide x 1" deep x 1/2" deep. Markings: stamped inside the lid Mexico Sterling 925 around a center logo that is poorly stamped and illegible, the eagle mark with the number 3 for Taxco. Condition: there are some gaps in the stone inlay but I don't believe that anything is missing, some tarnish to the copper. H280
