Description: In the landmark 1957 film, The Seventh Seal, Ingmar Bergman's character, whilst partaking in a bowl of strawberries with some fellow travellers, famously declares, 'I shall remember this hour of peace: the strawberries, the bowl of milk, your faces in the dusk.' (If you haven't seen the film, please do.) While we don't recommend this blend with milk, this is the exact sentiment we've gone for with this luscious matcha concoction. Brew a pot and find a memorable moment of peace, wherever you are.Upping the serenity factor of this tea, is the fact that matcha, like all green teas is known as a source of theanine. A naturally occurring compound, some natural medicine practitioners contend that theanine is a natural antidepressant of sorts, said to calm the mind and ease feelings of anxiety. What's more, matcha is known as a good source of antioxidants and polyphenols, which means this tea may also offer anti-inflammatory and body cleansing properties. Peace be upon you. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
