The hoops are much much thicker than industry standard barrels and are the best 2 liter barrels we have seen. Our 2 Liter barrels are bigger and heavier than most 3 liter barrels. The weight is very deceiving for their size. This is due to VERY thick Oak staves.We are also including one of our custom MOONSHINE LIFE® reversible insulated Mason Jar coozies for your drinking pleasure.This barrel will be a great start to your new whiskey cellar. Custom age your own products in the privacy of your home. *****IMPORTANT NOTICE...... ***These barrels are UNPREPPED (not tightened, steam checked, or spot waxed). They are New and how everyone else ships them out. You will need to properly prep the barrel prior to its use. Wood is a natural substance and can dry, expand, crack or have small gaps/holes where liquid might leak out if the normal tightening/swelling process does not resolve it. Barrel Wax is used to make the area in question into a water-tight (alcohol too) area and it is readily available on ebay and every online marketplace.
