I did test for continuity and shorts with a multimeter, there is no short present.Neither wire connection has continuity with each other. If they had continuity then that would indicate a short.One wire is a direct ground (not self grounding, you can tell because of the rubber between installation bracket).The other is power and it did not have continuity to ground.Again this is indicating no short present.See video for evidence of above mentioned.This is not a guarantee but the video will provide help to determine authenticity of my statements.Again there is no guarantee of functionality but either way it will be a great looking piece to add to your accessories. There is some blade damage that can be easily covered up with epoxy. Please see all pictures and video and ask questions before you buy as there are no refunds. This is a 6 volt fan. By using a 12v to 6v reducer you can quickly add it to your 12v vehicle. Installation:This piece can be mounted on your windshield divider bar.This is has universal mounting brackets. See all pictures to ensure proper fit to your classic car or truck.Or customize installation to your liking.I have carefully insulated the fan for packaging.There is protection on all six sides as you can tell from the last 2 pics.Between the body of the fan I placed newspaper balled up to prevent movement.I placed nothing between the fan blades so no accidental breakage should occur. (see last 2 pics). This piece will go nicely put together with an under dash DEF switch instead of a toggle switch. Shortly after this goes up I will post one up for sale or of course you can use another source to purchase from. I recommend you video record the opening of this package if you intend to make a damage claim with the post office. I placed paper along the edges of the box and taped them to prevent any tampering before recording to prevent fraudulent claims.
