Produced around 1970 this teachers packet was designed to help educators informed children of the life of Martin Luther King Jr. In this cardboard box and glazing with a picture of Martin Luther King comes the following items an introduction letter from the United federation's of teachers, A poster called Mrs. King I'm sorry..., A newspaper Style fold out called the United teacher, 16 black and white 8 by 10 photograph showing the history of the life Martin Luther King jr., A pamphlet called biography of Martin Luther King this material was developed under a grant from the Eugene and Agnes e Myers Foundation as well as another pamphlet called Martin Luther King drum major for justice, a collection of Articles and artifacts staple together with the cover page stating letter from Birmingham Jail all this is housed in a custom folder. Along with all this comes the record album the Reverend dr. Martin Luther King jr. in search of freedom in near mint condition and the cover is also still in the original shrink wrap and last but not least a 5-inch reel to reel tape dr. Martin Luther King jr. speech to the teachers at the 1963 spring Conference of the United Federation of teachers. I've had this package in my collection for a number of years and I've never seen its like again. There is a strong possibility this could be the finest collection of these artifacts in existence as this was meant as a teaching aide not a collectible. See photos.
