The text on the inside page of a first condition (see pic) details how Elvis “would go hopping mad when he reads this”. It broke his heart when this book was released on 1st August 1977 and 2 weeks later the King was dead. All books with that paragraph (see pic) before Elvis died were withdrawn and reprinted with a different message. To find a first edition of this (in any condition) is extremely rare. In terms of the book itself, it is a fascinating insight into life with Elvis and as you can imagine is at times a tough read.
