Description: This was bought at an estate in Fremont Wisconsin, the original owner had passed but there are Sturgeon runs in the Wolf River near by so I’m sure he sourced it from around there. It’s around a whopping 41” long!!!! These mounts are extremely rare and hard to come by in this great of condition. (The head is obviously molded as they do) the taxidermist who cleaned it told me it’s a real skin mount, has some slight scuffs or scratches, no breaks in fins. I did have this professionally cleaned and lacquered. I’m not sure why but he put the felt over the stitching/original tape. See pictures. Being the size it is I don’t feel comfortable shipping it at the moment but I am willing to travel up to an hour away to meet up (message me first). Feel free to ask questions, items are sold as is.
