Description: STOKE ON TRENT EMPIRE WARE EPC PITCHER JUG WASH STAND BASIN BOWL SET ENGLAND ANTIQUE Up for your consideration is this RARE Antique East Anglia Empire Ware EPC Matching Ceramic Pitcher and Wash Basin / Bowl Set made in Stoke on Trent, England. This wonderful set features a lovely blue and white color combination with windmill and sailboat scenes. We believe the lighter blue brush strokes were done by hand and the other images may be a decal however we are not positive. We are positive that this is an amazing antique set that you won't come across often. It is RARE that both pieces of the set managed to survive together all these years and are in overall excellent condition for their age. Both pieces are stamped on the bottom and the set would make a beautiful addition to any country / cottage inspired space, especially if you are going for the grand millennial look. This set is more like finer made china, lighter in weight, not heavy and clunky like reproductions. Pitcher rests perfectly in the basin for a wonderful display. RARE set for collectors. The top is 7" across including the pour spout. The handle on the pitcher measures just over 7" tall and extends outwards 2-1/2" from the body.
