This debut release from Cristoph's new project is a hard-to-define batch of songs that are jangly, but not quite janglepop; noisy, but not actually noisepop; and dreamy, but not really shoegaze. Heck, even the production style is simultaneously lo-fi and well-recorded! The guitars are shambling and distorted, the vocals are morose (but not over-bearing) and the songs themselves are pretty great.
