Description: This was purchased as 316 foil for use in an R&D project in the mid eighties. It has been stored since. The sheets are 9" X 12". cut on a shear, so plus or minus a little. Our use for this was as a carrier for screen printed polymer thick film components, but it was never used. We always ordered 316, but occasionally purchasing would ask us if 304 was OK. We needed some temper in the sheet for flatness for printing so I am pretty certain this is 316 since it acts about half hard. It has been stored, but occasionally moved so there may be very minor blemishes (corner, bent etc.) This was made in Americal, before China could even spell stainless steal. Oops! a typo!
