I'm not really sure on how to test this since it didn't come with any tanks or paintballs. I turned the safety off and can cock it manually by slideing the silver rod back until it clicks that is located in the top right corner. It was hard to pull back and when I squeezed the trigger, it fired but then the silver rod slowly went forward. I think it needs some work. I also see some tuck tape on the line that goes from the tank connection area to the center of the paintball marker. I'm not sure what else that I can test.
