Description: WW 1 and quite possibly earlier Cameron Highlander other rank's sporran. Overall length 14". Black leather caps to white horsehair tassels. White metal, one piece badge secured in rear with a brass split pin fastener to 2 vertical copper lugs. This is the original badge for this sporran as there are no other mounting holes. Reverse side has a pocket purse secured by a brass button. Beneath the purse flap is the original owners name 5497 l/cpl L. Bowman, A Coy. Waist belt is 3/4" wide and passes thru two leather loops above the purse. Present, original leather belt will fit up to a 38" waist. If you intend to wear you can insert a longer belt.
