This set was purchased at time of its first release in 1998 and is guaranteed to be the original, authentic presentation. You can tell by looking at the detailing on the cards and by the beautiful color imprinting. These qualities can simply not be reproduced in a cheap knock-off imitation. If you want the real thing, this is the deck and book set for you. It was purchased by a collector who did not use the deck for reading but only enjoyed these cards for their beauty. This is a very unique deck with unusual artwork and it is a true collector's item. The cards and inner card case are in pristine condition, straight and true. The book and LWB have no markings, creases or bends either. The outer case does have a few knicks and small tears as a result of shelfwear, but everything is still sturdy and ready to enjoy.
