Description: No tube or sock however rod is complete and just needs to be varnished to take fishing Ferrules fit perfectly and pop when disassembled Cork grip is in terrific shape and reel seat functions as it should with no problems All sections are dead on straight and all wraps are in place All this rod needs is a new coat of varnish or if you'd like you can restore the rod completely and it will look better then new These are double built so there are smaller sections under the outer sections and give these rods lots of casting power This rod building technique took lots of time and was done by Wes Jordan inside his little rod building shop he built inside of the huge production shop in south bend Indiana so he could work in peace and quiet there. This was the deal negotiated before he agreed to work for South Bend, and these rods were built to the same exact specs the original Cross double built rods were back in Lynn Massachusetts
