Description: This is a rare Sony Vaio PCG-U1 Japanese UMPC, released in 2002. It is remarkably small. The device is fully functional and boots into the original Windows XP installation, which is in Japanese. I would’ve reinstalled it so it could be English, but I didn’t want to lose the drivers and exclusive Sony software that is present. A CD drive is included, but I was unable to get it to work. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to include a charger as I need the one I have for my other devices. It needs 16V and 2.7A. The model I was using was PCGA-AC16V4. Beware, I tried using both a 16V 2A and 16V 3.75 charger and the laptop wouldn’t power up with those. If it had I would’ve included it. No battery is included, but most of the batteries for these no longer hold a charge anyways. Two things I would like to note are that: the fan in this unit is quite loud and also, there is a little chipping paint on the corner which can be seen in the pictures.(It is a common issue with these models) NO CHARGER INCLUDED If you have any questions feel free to send a message.
