Interview with United Mutation, Pet Shop Boys lyrics, poems, Xeroxed imagery, and a Grateful Dead page prefiguring Funk's later Online Ceramics work. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. 2 oz. 20 pp. This zine is included in "Tricker's Cabin," the Online Ceramics bibliography on p.13. This is the copy of this zine A24 used to scan-in for their bibliography. Elijah printed this in a small edition his senior year at CCAD. Text clean. Slight smudge on back wrapper. Near Fine. No ISBN. Here is the text I wrote about Funk for Beautiful Decay at the time of this zine's printing: "Hardcore punk is a codified style with a ritualistic devotion to convention in both its sound and imagery. However, a much-needed wave of art school interveners have recently begun to re-imagine the genre. Elijah Funk, current or former member of the bands Drug Money, Horrible Creeps, Le Vansona, and Shaver, creates artwork that expands and complicates the abusive iconography of hardcore, infusing it with irony, intelligence, and anxiety. Funk is currently a student at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio, where his senior thesis show opens April 7th, 2012.
