Description: This necklace is part of the Pop Art line and is called Olho Grego(Greek Eye). The Pop Art line was created by Sobral to represent the passage of Modernity into Post Modernity in the Western culture. This is a new edition of the this classic necklace which is larger and longer. This necklace features 26 large round beads with a rainbow stipe and eye motif. Each bead is hand knotted and it measures 34" in length and the diameter of each bead is about 1“ in diameter. I also have the matching bracelet and earrings available. The first United Nations Conference to address environmental degradation was held in Stockholm in 1972. Already at that time the designer Carlos Sobral was working with resin and creating new techniques and alternative products to reuse all the raw material he consumed in the production of his collections. All Sobral production strictly follows the current environmental standards; however, Sobral goes further by putting into practice the zero disposal of raw material.
